The Chorus of the Atlantic, a 25-man a capella chorus under the direction of Craig J. Page, meets every Tuesday evening 7:30 - 10 p.m.
Through the summer, we meet at Middletown Arts Center, 36 Church Street, Middletown, NJ 07748
(adjacent to the Middletown train station)
We welcome visitors to our rehearsal space.
What happens there?
We will provide sheet music so you may follow along as we rehearse, or you may choose to sing with us.
We are seated for much of the night in comfortable chairs in the auditorium of the Red Bank Middle School.
Our assistant director will warm-up the chorus with vocal exercises for about 25 minutes.
The director will work on new material, or review chorus repertoire for about an hour.
Occasionally, the men will stand on chorus risers on the stage and sing.
There is a short business meeting and introduction of our guests around 9:00 PM.
We then will take a short social break to chat with friends and/or sing in quartets
The remainder of the evening is review and polish for any upcoming performances.
You're As Welcome As the Flow'rs in May!
